It has now been four years since your passing. These have been difficult years. Some comfort comes from knowing that you are in a better place, that we will see you again some day and that you want us to be happy. I hold your memory in my heart. I think of your kindness and your laughter. I hug my family and friends tighter. I don't take anything for granted. I miss you and will never forget you.

Today, on your 50th birthday, I'll say it again.... I love you & miss you. I'm grateful for every memory we shared together. The day you came into my life everything changed; you brought happiness, you brought hope, you brought contentment. Falling in love with you was easy. Everything about you your smile, your kindness your caring heart eased any doubts I had, not about you but about love and giving my heart away. I can't wait till the day we are together again. Happy Birthday!

Thinking of you with fondness and sadness as another of your birthdays approaches and you are not here to celebrate with us....not physically anyway. I think of you often and wish things could be different. Anyway, I hope your birthday is special and I look forward to seeing you again someday. Until that day comes....rest in peace...and please take care of Jonathan. Love you....

Another storm is at our doorstep. It is quiet and cloudy today. I had a brief visit with Tyson a little while ago. I remember how well the two of you hit it off. No surprise. You are both great guys. I thought I might be seeing Lisa today. I guess God had other plans. I know he has her and Grace in his tender care as they struggle to rebuild their lives. I know you watch over them as well. Anyway.....until we meet again my friend....rest in peace and know that you are loved and missed.

Bruce... I was asked to take in a 5yr. old little girl that needed emergency placement. She has been with me since July and I feel very blessed to have her. She reminds me so much of Grace blonde hair, blue eyes and all. It brings back special memories of the times we had together. Just like Grace... she loves to laugh, joke and loves clothes shopping and dressing up. :) I miss you!

Oh dear Bruce. How you are missed. We had the pleasure of having Gracie spend this weekend with us. She was ice skating and doing such a great job. This of course gave us the chance to remind her how proud you would be of her. This also have us the opportunity to tell her stories of her amazing dad. We miss you always but will do our best to keep your memory alive for Gracie and ourselves. Rest peacefully.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you and miss you. You left me with some very wonderful memories. Together we complemented each other, grew together and achieved our common goals together. Shortly after you were gone.... I visited your father and gave him some photos of our trips together. His face instantly had a smile and he said: "I never saw him smile before, he obviously was very happy with you." Bruce....I miss your smile. Happy Birthday!

I know I am a day early....but Happy Birthday in Heaven Bruce! I think of you often....sometimes with a smile....sometimes with a tear...sometimes with both....but always with fondness and lots of love. Today I light a candle in your memory and in celebration of your life and the wonderful human being you were.

Today we went to Barbers Crossing one our favorite places to eat, when we had Gracie. Matt smiled when we drove up. He was the first one in the door and picked the booth we use to sit in. He bought three scratch tickets like you use to do with him and Grace. I felt like you were with us. :)

Thinking of you today with love and remembering the good times. I feel privileged to have been able to share part of your brief time on earth. You were fun, thoughtful, talented, hard working, generous and kind. I remember the twinkle in your eye and your obvious love for Lisa, Grace and the boys. Miss you...

A million times I needed you. A million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place, no one else can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of me went with you when God took you home.

Bruce.... I once was told I lived in a dream world and would never find the type of love I was looking for.I finally found my true love and everything I ever dreamed of, when I found you. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. Our time was too short but you have left me with memories to last a life time. I always knew how much you loved me just the way you looked at me and smiled. You did
