Olubukola Adebisi Soremekun was truly an example of the believer.  She was a member of our Teens church teachers here in Winners chapel international Manchester and we fondly called her sister Buky. She was really passionate about the teenagers and would pray for them as if they were hers personally. Her investment and impact in the unit though for a short period will not easily be forgotten.

Buky was woman of Faith and a true fighter, despite her health challenge one thing she looked forward to, was anchoring her weekly intimacy with God interview sessions, a programme which streamed on Youtube that featured Christian leaders and was aimed at stirring up the body of Christ towards developing an intimate relationship with the lord Jesus Christ.  Sister Buky you fought a good fight, you ran the race, you finished your course and there is now left for you a glorious crown which the Lord Jesus the righteous judge shall give. We love you!

Sister Bukky,
You were such a lovely soul. We met sometimes in 2016 & clicked ever since then. You called me "Princess mi". You were a devoted wife to your husband and amazing Mother to the Ms(what I call your kids). You called me earlier this year & I complained how I miss you & you need to visit London soon. Didn't know it was a goodbye call. You will sorely be missed. Abiyamo Tooto.

Farewell!!!

Sis Bukky, I still can’t believe you have gone. Just like that. You’re such a wonderful daughter of Zion with your beautiful smile and a humble spirit. Your love for God is contagious. You will be missed greatly but we take solace in the fact that we will meet again in our Father’s kingdom. What a day of joy that will be.

I first met Sis Bukky 13yrs ago when she came with her family to worship in the I use to go to.
We became friends, she was a woman zealous for God and always out for Christ. She always had a listening ear and a word of encouragement for everyone.
She love her husband and children. She will always say it is God all the way.
I pray the Lord comfort the husband and children and give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
She will be greatly missed and I pray she continues to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

OluwaBukola aya Soremekun, omo Sobandeeeeee, couldn't help but getting emotional writing this but my solace is in the Lord Jesus whom you served till your departure and your gentle voice that could have whispered to my hearing if you are here to tell me it's okay..." Edunnnn ore mi, kon ke si, se o ko mon pe moti la ba Jesu joba ni paradise ni, apa otun Eledunmare re mo tin gbadun bayi".
Lots of your good virtues to say, you were active, agile, brilliant and a go getter. A fervent child of the Lord most High and a dedicated woman to whatever cause she believed in. I met you at the then Ogun State Polytechnic, Mass communication department and we became friends and got along so well, attending fellowship and serving the Lord together at our teen ages. Wouldn't forget in a hurry the day we decided to fellowship with a particular assembly on campus, we considered it too tush setting for us to flow, before I could signal to you, you were out and without much ado, I joined you and we headed for Redeem fellowship where we felt more comfortable. Humnnm! Bukkyyyyy, you told me you will be visiting Nigeria soon and I've been looking forward to host you, never for once thought you would leave so soon but I know God knows best. To Him alone be the glory for your life well spent. Rest in peace ore mi Bukoko, adieu!

Hey Bestie, the way you referred to me in your last days.
I know you are in a better place now.
You were so young to die. I am always wondering why does it have to be this way.
But we cannot question our creator.
Every single life you touched will never forget you including mine.
I thank you for our unique friendship and all the memories we hold together.
It's has been a privilege to have known you.
At some point, we became family, not just a friend.
You will always be remembered until we meet up once again.
You have gained a wing Bukola, so fly high.

I met Bukky @ Winners Chapel Manchester when she invited me to join the Christmas Committee and since then we became friends. Bukky was a God Fearing and friendly lady. She was one of the few people that would check on me if she had not heard from me for a while. She would regularly send me Christian and inspirational messages and invites to her program Intimacy with God. When she calls we spent most times laughing as she felt I was very funny. I regularly teased her that one day she would own her TV station but in everything we thank God. I pray that may her soul rest in perfect peace and May God continue to comfort her husband, children, family & well wishers.

Bukky has been a friend since we entered Ogun Poly. She was a beautiful and gentle soul, always seeking out for others in her little way. Still a shock to know you're resting with your maker. Missed your notifications ' We're online in 5mins'

I met Bukky 11 years ago. I was inviting people to Church that Sunday morning and I saw Bukky and her family looking for a Church to worship in. That's how our journey began. She was a great woman of Valour, always prayerful, smiling and faithful. She had so many testimonies to share of the Goodnes of God. Bukky set up IWG in 2016 and it evolved into a Utube talk show, where great Men and Women of the Gospel were invited to Minister. Bukky was an excellent hostess and very polite and respectful. She always spoke well of people and loved her husband and children dearly I never knew in February when I communicated with her, that would be the last time we shared. I am grateful for the words of encouragement she gave me during my bereavement. Bukky knew where she was going and I know she will never be forgotten only missed. Her legacy lives on.
God bless

Sister Bukky, you were such a lovely soul, full of passion and hunger for the Lord. You were beautiful inside and outside, ever-smiling, positive and full of faith. Your selfless life attracted many people to you everywhere you went. We have only become family friends for a couple of years and it felt like a lifetime - sure, eternity to share.

When Seed of Hope parish started with just our family, you were always popping in to join us after attending service in your local parish - you were like Aaron and Hur. Your hunger for souls for Christ inspired and challenged us never to be weary.

The memories we shared together will remain a consolation and comfort, knowing that you’re resting in the bosom of the Lord.

Goodnight, dearly beloved Sister B, until the resurrection morning.

Aunty Bukky , how do we get over this? Now so you are not going to call to sing that special song to Mololuwa again,i dont know how to explain to her its weeks past. You are too much of a virtous woman if there is anything like that and you carry a heart full of love even in your pains , you carried on graciously and you genuinely loved God. Its difficult to type Rest on at the feet of the Master. Goodbye!

SHORT BUT IMPACTFULL

Hu!
"A o pàdé lésè Jesu, níbi ti a kò ní yara wa....! "
Bukola Soremekun; knowing you was a privilege that I will never forget, it was short but highly impactful that I have a lot to say; Your faith in Christ was another level. We couldn't see physically before your glorious departure but our relationship since our Lord & Saviour brought us together through a father in the Lord was so deep and solid. You and your husband trusted me so much to accept me as a prayer partner & a mother.
You got me introduced to many people through your ministry, IWG and not for once did you display or show like one in pain in all your ministrations. You always display the fruits of the spirit in all you do; what a blessing you were to this generation.
You are missed and will forever be missed my darling. I know you are in a better place and the Lord through His Holy Spirit will comfort your husband, children, family and friends in Jesus name.
Sun re omo Jesu.
