Carl J. Fries, Jr., 78, of Deptford, NJ passed away on June 30, 2018.

Mr. Fries was a member of the Elks Lodge, Deptford #2708 and proudly held several patents relating to machinery. He was a Mechanical Engineer and had been employed with Portion Packaging.

Survived by son Joseph Fries of Quakertown, PA, daughters Teresa Wiley of E. Earl, PA, Christine Basile of Easton, PA and Donna Faccenda of Langhorne, PA, grandchildren Aaron, Isaac, Jared, Jacob, Joseph, Anna, Lisa, Stephen, Robert, Sarah, Geena, Andrew, Kevin and Jason, great grandfather of Sophie, Ella and Caden. Also survived by sisters, Mary and Susan.

Visitation Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 11am to 12 noon at FERTIG FUNERAL HOME, 63 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where funeral service will begin at noon. Interment private.

So sorry for your loss. Joe, Terry, Chrissie and Donna, you were the next generation from us in the family but the closest in age. I used to love visiting you all at your house growing up. When I think of your dad, I think of those times.
