This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Carlos Almuina, born on October 19, 1950 and passed away on June 22, 2011. The last three months of his life he battled severe depression and ultimately took his own life. He would want us to remember him by the 60 years of good times he had. He always knew how to make people laugh and lived life passionately. He married his sweetheart and left his homeland country of Argentina in 1972 in search of the American dream (which he found). Carlos was happily married for 38 years and enjoyed traveling around the United States, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Mexico and Egypt. He was an engineer/tool and die specialist by trade. In his youth, he helped his dad run a market, drove a taxi and was a police officer. Some of his hobbies included: investing in the stock market, cross word puzzles, ken ken puzzles, going to the beach, traveling, walking his dogs, collecting safari hats and most importantly, spending time with his friends and family. Please feel free to share some of the good memories so that his spirit lives on.

Leave a tributeThank you for being such a great example of a father to me and a husband to Mami. You showed me what it looks like to be a truly amazing man and it is the reason I found such an awesome husband.
