My Dearest Tina,
You have always held a special place in my heart. You have been my best friend through the years. I loved the fact that we always picked up right where we left off although the years came and went. I'll cherish the memories of our talks, our laughs, and our tears. I miss you dearly.

Catrina Lynn Sheppard: wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, auntie, friend.
God received a new flower in His garden today but we lost a very special member of our family. Tina was true to herself in all things and didn't feel the need to conform to others' opinions of her. She lived life in a unique way and you couldn't help but love her. We miss you!

My dear Tina, only you know the bond we share…no drama, just raw love. You always secretly told me I was your “real sister” and I loved belonging to you. All of my best childhood memories are of you…we ate good that summer, didn’t we?! :) Of all the things we outgrew, we never lost that childhood connection. Love you always and forever, see you on the other side, sis...

Tina's Family

May 16, 2012

Tina was preceeded in death by her husband, Lee, and leaves behind her precious son, Aaron. Tina was blessed to have two mothers, Vicki who raised her and Coco who gave birth to her, her dad, Eric, siblings: Theresa, Tami, Emerson, Tanya and Mia; Aunt Candy, cousins: Terry, Carl, Gail, Billy; nephews/nieces: Kris, James, Kati, David, Sarah, Amber, Lia, Lance, Eli, Tyler, Foxx, Cody, Heather; great nephews/nieces: Little David, Arizona Grace, Kenslei; Tina also had a sister-n-law and several brothers-n-law who loved her dearly, along with many friends and neighbors.

Waiting in heaven to greet her is Grandma, Papaw, Lee, Aunt Brenda, Regina, Elizabeth, Uncle John, Renee, C-Pappy, and her brother Stephen.

To all who read this: If I have left out anyone, please let me know and I will add them.

It is important at a time like this to honor all who have gone before and to cherish all who remain. Let us honor the dead but celebrate the living because we do not know God's plan for each of us. Run the good race and fight the good fight. It is not us who live but Christ who lives in us.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God. Galatians 2:20
