My dear Aqueen,
Honestly, I got the dates mixed up and only got through to the website this afternoon, 2nd May. Even when we spoke on Thursday, I got the impression that you had only just arrived from the UK and heading East for Mum's burial on 25th May.

Plz accept my apologies for the mixup and of course, my condolences once again for the terrible loss. I've no doubt that her funeral went well and was befitting. May her gentle soul continue to enjoy the company of The Good Lord. Amen! Dr Enukora Joe & Dr/Mrs Ugo Okoli

"Late Lolo Eneh-Ugwu was a lady I had heard so much about that it felt as though I knew her.
Alas, time & fate has proved otherwise !!!!
I commiserate with HRM Igwe Eneh-Ugwu & family, my dearest friend Aqueen & her family at such a sudden/painful loss.
Yet, as Christains, we must keep reminding ourselves that God keeps his promises - even when the circumstances make it appear unlikely that HE will.
May the gentle soul of Lolo Eneh-Ugwu rest in peace. She will never be forgotten.
Moreso, may the peace of God which passeth all understanding forever remain with the families, her dear & loved ones / all who knew her.

Lolo, Nwunye Igwe, ever smiling and soft spoken.

You were a candle in the wind.
When we hoped you would shine again; you faded away.

What do we do?

Mourn like those without hope.
We know we will surely see you again but we keep asking:

Why now?

We love you and will surely miss you, but God loves you most.

Sleep well, dear mum. Our eyes are heavy but we remain consoled in the Lord.

Farewell.

I am still in a state of profound shock. It is too hard a shock to assimilate. A rare gem is gone. But our loss is heaven's gain. She was a very special aunty, elegant, endearing and  a regal personae. Someone i looked upto and someone who dispensed affection with calm grace. For me She is irreplaceable but we can not question the will of God. I find comfort only in my belief that she is in a better place and that when the trumpet sounds we shall gather with the Lord in a place where there will be no mourning. Mayn her beautiful soul rest in peace.

March 30, 2015

Life is a stage, where men and women come in and play their parts and go. Different actors will be remembered for different reasons. Some for their good works others by their bad works. Every man is born to die. Every one wants to go to heaven but none of us want to die.

Death is an inevitable end to a new beginning. The problem we have is ability to do what we must do to go to where we want to go.

Hell is real. Heaven is real. There are conditions to get to either. We want to enjoy the two places. But there is still a condition for both places.

What must we therefore do?

God so loved the world the He gave His only Son to die for me. He died and took my sins away. He said its finished.

What do I do?

Turn my life to my maker. Prepare for eternity and wait for the appointed time.

Jesus is the answer. He can enable us play our part well and spend eternity with Him. Its called Grace. May the Grace of God be with us all at this time of trial in Jesus Name. Amen
