Mrs. Christine Houston Johnson of Wadley died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services are planned for Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. CST at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Wadley with Elder Thomas Knight officiating.

Burial will follow at the churchyard cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by six children, Juanita Johnson, Christina (Shaun) Lewis, Elizabeth (Curtis) Heard, James Johnson (Buffy) and Mary Johnson, all of Wadley, and Randy Johnson (Trina) of Chicago; 25 grandchildren; five sisters; six brothers; her mother-in-law, Ruth Johnson, of Talladega, Ala.; two sisters-in-law; a host of grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.
