Several years ago I found myself at the hospital with my Mom. We had been there for a few hours and I went for a walk outside. It had turned dark, I was hesitant and started to go back inside when this sweet voice said "Terry Ann, where are you going?" It was Chris sitting on the curb, I turned and sat down beside him. He asked how I was doing and I started crying. Chris just put his arm around me and said "I know, I know." I didn't have to tell him how scared I was or try to be brave. He just loved me. I miss him and thank him for teaching me the power of unconditional love. You are missed.
