Hilary, good evening. Sorry about the death of your father. We thank God for the life he lived. We pray for the repose of his soul and for God to strenghten, comfort and console you and your siblings as you prepare for the burial. I won't be able to attend as we are having our Provincial Chapter. May the soul of your father Cletus and the souls of all the faithful departed thru the mercy of God rest in peace. Fr. Charles OP.

Dad transited on May 29, 2017 being Democracy Day in Nigeria. He was a man of unquestionable integrity, firm, resolute.and kindhearted. He lived a fulfilled Catholic life, a life dedicated to God and service to humanity. For 27 years after our mum passed away, he lived a life dedicated to prayer, service to the church and total abstinence. Dad never remarried. Though we are mortals and cannot judge, he lived without any woman till home going.
As we journey through this, we pray God to preserve your soul till we meet again. Goodnight father.Your son, Hilary.

My father was the most disciplined man I ever knew. He said, "He who loves discipline loves knowledge. Stupid is the man who hates correction."One of the reasons for this was his total devotion to Christianity and service to humanity. To feel the significance of this, my father planted the virtuous of discipline, Christianity and high moral standards in me and my siblings. My father was peaceful and a selfless man. He loved his children and his late wife wholeheartedly. Now he is gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord, I will miss him forever, he has left an irreplaceable vacuum for me. I will miss him more than these words say... Hard to say RIP dad. Amen.

Agatha Tribute

Father, you were a hero and an army of Christ. You did not live your whole life for material things. Because you always said they're vanity. Your service to humanity had no boundary. You made me to know that the earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. You engraved in my memory that we were all created to work and that work is the stewardship of all of the creation that God has given to us. Your life was a life of sacrifice and service. You brought the light Christ into my whole life. For seeds you have planted in the sands of the earth, heaven rejoices at your glorious exit. What a wonderful father you were. Goodnight.
