Hard Worker But Better Family Man

November 5, 2013
I had the pleasure of working with Charlie some years back. I'm sure Ms. Brenda remembers those days. I wasn't really Charlie's boss but the lead on the work we did. We spent countless hours working on projects and then shared a motel room week after week. Charlie was a hell of a worker. He always knew what needed to be done and he made it happen. What was more rewarding and inspiring than his work ethics, though, was his love and devotion to his family. He talked about Brenda and his boys everyday. He also talked to them everyday and kept up closely with what his sons wete doing. I hated the day the company laid Charlie off. Losing a hard worker tough. On the other hand, though, I'm kinda glad so he could be spend the valuable time that he did with his family. I regret not having kept in touch after moving away but the times Charlie and I spent has not been forgotten.
