He lives on, in the hearts of those whose lives he has touched, for in reality we are spiritual beings on a physical journey through earth. Thankfully, the spirit of his goodwill has lit a candle of goodness in many hearts. May his soul rest in peace!

"of all the wonders I yet have seen and heard, it seem to me most wonderful that men should fear, seeing death a necessary end which will come when it will..". My only problem with this death is that it came too sudden and too early. I kept procrastinating to visit Chief to say a big thankyou for the change he made in my life & my family but death rubbed me of the opportunity. Adieu Chief.

My Dad is devastated. I am too. But know this, your daddy is not dead. He is alive. He now lives with His Creator. And though it hurts to miss him and never touch or call him, when our own journeys on this earth is done, we shall all meet together again, with our Father. I have known the comfort of heaven and I pray you will know same in all His fulness. Ndo nu. Be encouraged.

Life they say is transient.   I am still in shock that “Double Chief” is no more.   The day before the news of your demise, while searching through some documents, I found a very lovely photograph from your daughter’s traditional marriage in Umunumo.   As I looked at the photograph, it reminded me of the last telephone conversation I had with you and I thought: I should call Double Chief because it has been a while since I spoke with him.   But alas! I learnt the following day that you had already passed on.   The bible says “Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.”   Double Chief, I will miss your candour.   Sleep well Dearest Double Chief.
