I still can't believe you're never coming home.. This first year has been so hard without you; and I'm not sure how I've gotten through it. All I know is I have to endure many more years without you; without hearing your voice and seeing your beautiful smile. I talk to you every day. I cry for you every day. I'm so glad God chose me to be your mama. You were so strong and so brave and I am so proud of who you were. I love you Dakota and I miss you so much.

Can’t believe it’s been a year since you went to heaven and I still can’t believe it’s been a year also that I said my last goodbye to you and touched you’re hand and told you I love you. But I wish you could be here to see you’re son he is so amazing in every way and for sure has you’re smartass mouth lol but I hope you know that I will keep my promise to build a man me and you will be proud of.. you still my first love and forever have my heart and I’ll see you someday but right now gotta keep pushing forward and I hope heaven is treating you nice
