I met Darryl when I was in high school. He lived on junkyard row and knew all the junk yard people . He used to build the fastest cars around using parts from the junkyards. He had a 55 Chevy he put in a 427 and Bam he had the fastest car around. We used to spend nights in San Bernardino on E Street drag racing..

I was honored to be his friend and to have been allowed to share but a small part of his life. But in that short time we shared much, good, bad, courrousity, hope's, dreams and so much more. I know most of you will have your own special memories with Daryll as I will. I say goodbye my friend and hope to meet you again. Thank you for all the lessons you brought for me to learn. I miss you deeply now RIP

The stuffed shoe

January 7, 2016

I took Daryll one day to the shoe store to get him some  shoe's. Later that day we had to go to social security  and then DMV but after s.s. he said his foot was hurting so I said let's go home so you can change your shoes. When he took his shoe off found that he still had tell paper stuffed in the toe. It was so funny we laughed for a long time.
