Dearest Dave, Today was so hard, as usual, missing you and your cheerful voice and innocent smile. Your Bro' Anth is living with us for a while and it really helped to have someone else who remembered you too!! We had some time to recall the way you were and how you'd be today, had you survived. 
Guess what? A really good person named Joseohine McDonaugh left a kind message for you last year. You are so loved by so many.I will be back tomorrow, Dave, with some pics of you to put up so we can remember and laugh about your antics with Anth and Alex etc. Good night my darling son, rest well. Dearest David, I can't believe so much time has gone by without you. I think of you every day. The raw pain is still there and will never go away-never!!! Sometines I dream that you are back-whole and healthy. Just like you were before a drunken driver pulled out in front of the motorcycle you were ridng. Just a second in time and you were gone. I think I am still here so that you will be remembered for a long time.......Anth and I will come to see your grave tomorrow. I know you are not really there but its a reminder. I imagine you, sitting up in Heaven, your favourite cat, Tazzy, at you feet, playing great music on your guitar. Such talent in so many things. I am getting closer to Heaven every day so soon we will see one another again. I will hug my "big guy' just forever! Like one of your songs said: " See you when you get there" And I will ny beautiful son, promise!! Love You up to the Stars and back!!
