What David Liked.....
David growing up enjoyed playing baseball, snowboarding, boy scouts, video games... and gaming in general, computers and watching movies.
He loved Ghostbusters, Ninja Turtles, Teddy Bears, Trains, Making Models, Teddy Ruxpin, Micro Mini Machines and Legos. He would play for hours and hours with those Legos. He would spread them out all over my living room.
He played outside alot making forts, climbing and riding his bike.
His favorite holidays were Christmas, Halloween and Easter.
David loved his stocking... Peeps, orange tic-tacs, gold coins and gum were his favorite candy at Christmas. Even though he was all grown up...I still gave him a stocking every year. And no matter where he was in the world on Christmas ...he had his stocking.
We always had to have a train that went around the Christmas Tree.. he loved trains. He always got up on Christmas day before the sun came up. We could always tell because he would start that train up. :o)
At Halloween it was candy corn. We would have pumpkin carving contests. David would mostly win. One year he carved this Wolf pumpkin..when we lived in New Fairfield. I will try and find the picture and post it. It was his very best work.
He loved coloring easter eggs and going on Easter egg hunts and would crack the eggs on his head hahahaha.... one year when he was 18. I gave him a card with season passes to Kings Domionion instead of an Easter Basket. WELL you would have though I commited a crime or something. He wanted an Easter Basket !!! So every year ...even though he was grown...he got a basket.
We used to call him "BOX BOY" because he would take boxes things would come in and cut holes out for arms and make like a robot...or he would make forts/houses out of the boxes. Sometimes I thought he liked the box better than the gift! I have pictures of him in boxes...I will post them.
