Mr. Harvey Brooks, Sr. was born July 20, 1934 to the late John & Lula Brooks in Coweta County.  He departed this life on August 16, 2012.

He was preceded in death by three children: Mr. Eddie Brooks, Mr. Jerry Brooks and Miss Mary Brooks; one brother, four sisters: Mr. Willie Howard Brooks, Mrs. Inez Hodo, Mrs. Johnie Mae Steverson, Mrs. Willie Mae Kirkland and Mrs. Alice Tootle.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a faithful and devoted wife, Mrs. Pauline Brooks, who took care of him until death; three children, Mr. Harvey Brooks, Jr. (Mrs. Tamu Brooks), Mrs. Florine Parks (Mr. James David Parks, Sr.), Mrs. Jennifer Glenn (Mr. Wade Glenn); eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
