Don was born on August 2, 1940 in Pender, NE, the son of Percival and Agnes (Rebensdorf) Glissman. He attended Pender High School and Graduated in 1957. Don served in the Army National Guard for 6 years. He was a lifelong farmer helping until 2019. Don married Dianna K. Jenkins on December 31, 1971 in Omaha, NE. To this union five children were born: Darryl, Rhonda, Denny, Kevin & Shelly.
Don was a hardworking man, always providing for his family while tending to the farm. He loved traveling all over the country, especially to Branson, MO. He also enjoyed attending and watching baseball games with his grandson. Don was a member of the American Legion and the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
