Dora was a classy lady. She was so good to me and my brother and sisters – always remembering us at Christmas and our birthdays. Her kind words and genuine interest in my life always endeared me to her. While we are sad knowing she will no longer be with us, can you imagine how happy she must be in Heaven!

Having a wonderful grandmother is something everyone should experience in life. I was fortunate enough to have the best of the best when it came to having her as my beloved grandma. Always full of love and kind words, I cherished being in her presence. Family Holidays, fresh baked cookies, or just watching a show, I will forever remember and pass on her kind and loving nature.

I first met Dora in 1982. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. I will remember forever how her face would light up whenever I spoke with her. Her beautiful character would always shine through in every endeavor that she was a part of. When I last saw her a short time ago, she still had that light in her eyes and that determination in her step.

Dora loves me like her daughter. We had a special relationship and understanding not said in words. Mom gave me much encouragement and support in life. She always greeted me with a hug and kiss and I felt her strength as an Elder and the presence of a sacred women who truly lived the Divine Principle. She will be so missed, my beloved Mom.

I wasn't one of the fortunate to know Dora well, but I was one of the fortunate to have been honored with her presence in life. And thats what I experienced with Dora, she was always present when I spoke to her. She always paid close attention to when one would speak with her. How she listened made a person feel that what they said, meant a lot. She let people know they were important.

Dora was an amazing woman and a wonderful friend. I can never forget her kind smile and loving heart. She never wanted to be praised or recognized, but she was always giving and reaching out to others. At church she was always the first one to greet a new guest, to take time to sit with them and learn more about them. She truly endeavored to embody the ideal of Christian love.

I have so many treasured moments with Dora and her family.
I was honored to become one of Dora's adopted Daughters.
She sat inj the spot my Mother would sit at my wedding.The daughters luncheons were wonderful. She is now angel in Heaven,she will forever be in my heart.Love you Dora!
