ForeverMissed
Dorothy Ann Ferriola, 84, of Mullica Hill, NJ died Tuesday February 4 with her loving children by her side.

Born in Camden, NJ, Dottie lived in Clementon, Philadelphia, Cardiff, Florida and Atlantic City before moving to Mullica Hill in 2005. She lived with her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.

A loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, Dottie was very special to many. Although she retired from Harrah’s in Atlantic City as a banquet server, she had a varied career including a seamstress in Philadelphia, a head cashier at Rickles home improvement store, and Dental Hygienist in Absecon. She loved learning new things, spending time with her family, special moments with her grandchildren and laughing about everything. She would put her creative spin on anything she did and brought joy and laughter to all those who surrounded her. Some of her favorite days were spent sunning at the beach with family and friends.

She was predeceased by her brother John Anderson and daughter Gina (Baiocco) Randazzo.

Surviving are her son Michael Ferriola (Patti) of Millstone Twp., daughter Darcy Baiocco-Shulman (Mark) of Mullica Hill, sister Jeanne Clark of Bridgeton, sister Betty Brocious (Don) of Collingswood, her six grandchildren Christopher, Danielle, Brittani, and Vincenzo Ferriola, Gabriela Shulman, Joey Randazzo, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Sunday February 9th from 6-8 PM and Monday February 10th from 10-11 AM with service to follow at Fertig Funeral Home, 63 N Main St. Mullica Hill, NJ 08062. Interment at Eglington Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 320 Kings Highway, Clarksboro, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org in memory of Dorothy Ferriola.

My condolences to Mrs. Ferriola's family. No greater joy comes than to have your loving mother by your side for so long. Yet the day comes when that joy is interrupted and mere words can not take away the pain you are feeling. I hope that amidst your tears you can find comfort in each other. Your love will keep her alive in your hearts just as God’s love is proved by His memory of Dorothy in every detail. He will not forget your beloved mother, nor the promises He holds out to all.— John 5:28, 29, Revelation 21:4; Psalm 37:11, 29
