May the souls of all the faithful departed, especially the soul of Adedoyin Fakoya through the mercy of God rest in peace. My beloved husband physically gone but not forgotten, I celebrate your life today. Though your life with us was very brief, but your unexpected death makes us realize why we must love one another, forgive each other and enjoy the life that is given to us.
Today is a day I will always remember for this day belonged to you Doyin. I miss you more than words can say, I miss you every single day but especially on this day. Happy Birthday Adedoyin!!!
I am rest assured that you're resting in the bosom of our creator. I am grateful to God for the privilege of knowing a great man like you, I also want to thank him for bringing you into my life. I am thankful for all the great memories we shared.
I love you Adedoyin, and I will continue to pray for you. Thanks for watching over us.

Adedoyin Tikare, Been calling your phone, sent you messages, wondering why you were not responding, only to hear the news today, while talking to a friend, who assumed I knew.
The sadness in my heart leaves me numb. The prayer and hope is that God has you in a better place, where sorrow, pain and death no longer have any power.
Praying for God's comforting arms around your family.

Doyin..
..it was a pleasure to have become acquainted with you, though briefly. It is evident that you impacted positively in the lives of so many, and it is admired. You leave a beautiful daughter [Feyi] to continue for you, and in your absence, she will want for nothing surrounded by those who Love you and who Love her. Journey well, and rest easy..

Hmmm! Doyeen, we have come a very, very  long way. I remember every morning you stepped out of your house, your first stop was my house just right beside you, calling Mr D. "se make I call elewa agoyin ni?"  Your genuineness and your loyalty to families and friends was undescribable Doyin.  So much to say about you but i will just keep the memories alive.
I normally call you "doyeen de CP" cos you were a crowd puller, a very generous soul that never said 'NO' to anyone.
I can still remember when you came to visit me in canada,  you cracked everyone's ribs with your funny jokes, even the meat seller is still asking after you. You lighted  up any place you visited, there was never a dull moment with you. I still can't believe you're gone, but who are we to question God?  Never knew seeing you in Ibadan during our visit would be our  last.

I know you're in a better place and I pray that God will protect your daughter and the families you left behind.  You will surely be missed . So long  my friend and brother.

Doyenyen, words fail me. How can so much energy, love, happiness, limitless confidence depart from us just like that? You could have lived your life in three different people and they all would be fulfilled.

Babaniyen, you brought so much joy to the world that thinking I will not see you again on earth has left a big vacuum in my heart.

No matter where you are, I am sure they are happier now than they were before you came. Farewell my friend, bye good man.

May you rest in perfect peace & May God forgive your shortcomings.

Doyin, there is not one person who's been in your presence and doesn't remember you. You brought light into any space you entered. Not only did you openly greet new people, you took the time to converse & welcome them. You left people with smiles on their faces. You made the last two Thanksgivings holidays to remember. You will truly be missed. I'm grateful I was able to thank you before your passing. Times I didn't expect anything from... I only wanted to vent. You stood up for me as if you were my blood brother... Referred to me as family. You always thought about me & my future. I'm laughing and crying while writing this because God knows you've went out of your way. I will always appreciate you Doyin. We have Feyi to look at now... You will continue to shine through her.

Love,
Sakinah

So so so short of words. ADEDOYIN FAKOYA "Mr Happiness" why now? the last time we were meant to see was sometimes in December 2015. was meant to meet u up at Picasso's place (Onike), but i got held up somewhere. if i had known it would be my last opportunity to see u, i would have done everything possible to make that happen. Remember the days of playing Nintendo Wii (Tennis) at your place in lekki and other memories..Your humour, your laughter, your passion..... UNFORGETABLE... As for me, i've got no regret knowing you in this lifetime, and on that note i say Adieu my brother and friend, forever in my heart. TWMA...

It was only 3 weeks on the project, and tou made auch a great impact on everyone that you came in contact with. The first day of work was my first time I recall talking to you, like everyone else heading to Hotel Zaza we had no clue where the bus to the hotwl was. It was funny, and frustratig for a lot of us, but you found humor in it.
I asked you to joing us in the UBER ride, you respectfully declined because you had other folks that weren't sure how they were going to get back to the hotel. (that was nobel)
At the hotel several times we meet in the lobby most of the time we were trying to sort out Naija food, and making sure folks eat and patronized your Naija food hookup.

Men!, on that short period of time, it seems I have known you for a while, I gave you the nickname "Zaza"that both our colleagues remember vividly the way you reply back "Zaazaa"

May your soul rest in perfect peace Doyin Fakoya, Allah knows best.

So many memories of you in such little time. Our last conversation was on your wedding day there in Ibadan, you said in Yoruba "Iwo o fe se bata fun mi" and I was like it's not like that, and we were gonna discuss business afterwards, somehow we missed each other in the whole fun because it was your day.
Another time I remember when as a kid you did tricks with your fingers, you were very full of life.
Uncle Doyin you will be missed very much.
Heaven will be happy to have you.
Continue to rest in the bosom of the lord.

Doyin, this is a news I found difficult to believe. That you are no more is a rude shock to me. Why now? Why so fast? What a tragic way to leave?. The little time I got to know you, I was able to see how pleasant you were. Honestly, this is cruel for death to take someone like you away so soon. But what can we do than to return all glory to God who knows best why He allowed this to happen. Rest in peace gentle Doyin, and may God grant your family and friends the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Sweet is your memory.
