My dad had the most amazing twinkle in his eyes. His rosy cheeks and beautiful smile made everyone feel warm in his presence. A super gnome, the rock, the story teller, the heart and foundation of our family.

So many people were touched by his generosity. He was always there for whomever needed him; always helping.

His fantastic t-shirt collection showed how much more important it was for him to make someone else smile than to impress them.

He was stubborn as a mule too and an epic pack rat. None of us are perfect but he was the perfect dad for me. His heart was pure and he lived life fully. He stood up for what he believed in and took actions accordingly. He inspired me and gave me the support to become who I am now.

My heart aches and I miss him and feel every cell in my body has changed. My DNA coding things differently now. He echoes inside me but the source is gone.

His passing was a moment of devastating sadness but also of serene beauty. A powerful love surrounded him and all of us there, my sisters, my mom and I. A love that will sustain us and keep him living in our hearts. A transformed source of love that while intangible almost feels physically manifest in our tears.
