Eben was born in mutare and when he turned 18months his parents divorced he was taken to mhondoro communal lands where he was looked after by his grandmother rudo Josephine gombe. He went to mashayamombe primary and secondary school passed his o levels with six subjects he then left mhondoro in 2002 to join his uncle shupie musarurwa who was living in mutare.he was looking for greener pastures. He then joined border gezi training in hoping to get enrollment in one of the training institutions , unfortunately he didn't get recruited he then joined the other young men and women who where involved in money exchange and boarder crossing to Mozambique just trying to make a living during that time that's when he got a job at mutare general hospital as a general hand the position he held upto time of his death. He survived by wife and one child makanaka.his journey of life was cut so short . To his killer we pray she get her punishment for the rest of her life.there was no love .
