Such a responsibility you had to care for Mummy, all the nine sisters and our younger brother Sonna. Without your help Mummy would have never managed. Story about Andrews faith in Infant Jesus.

I like to share a story that happened in 1987 when my husband, myself and my children visited Sri-Lanka. At the time we were in Australia and we had a message to say that Tony's father was seriously ill. Immediately he booked the flights and we went home. During that time the country was under civil war. We were frightened to travel to the North. My brother Andrew said that we should take the train and go to Jaffna, where his father lived. Next day we travelled to the North of the country. While we were there the war broke out and all the transport system was cancelled. We could not get back to Colombo. We stayed for three months and we managed to treat and care for Tony's father. We were so scared and we had a very difficult time with limited water and food. One day we were told a van was leaving to Colombo. We were so happy and we travelled in the van to Colombo. At the time Indian Army was in the North. We had 24 check points and somehow we managed to get to Colombo. We straight went to our brothers home and arrived at midnight. My brother was so pleased to see us. He has been praying for nine days to Infant Jesus asking his favour upon us. He told us that he bought a statue of the Infant Jesus and started praying for us and the nineth night as he completed the Novena he heard the knock on the door. We were there all alive and he could not believe his eyes. He started praising the Infant Jesus. Today we are so grateful to our brother for all his prayers and protection and we still think of the story related to Infant Jesus. We honour the Infant Jesus in our own home. This is a great story that has never forgotten and we have passed this true story to many people. May God and Infant Jesus bless our Brother Andrew in heaven.

Miraculous prayer to the Infant Jesus

"Ask and you will receive; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks will receive, and anyone who seeks will find, and the door will be opened to him who knocks. ( Matthew 7: 7-8 ) This is the prayer of my brother Andrew. Taken from the powerful Novena card that he gave me. ( This Novena is to be said at the same time every hour for nine consecutive hours just one day). O Jesus, who has said, " Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, Knock and it shall be opened to you" through the intercession of Mary Thy Most Holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer will be granted. Make your request O Jesus, who has said, " All that you ask of the Father in my name, He will grant you " through the intercession of Mary, Thy most Holy Mother, humbly and urgently ask Thy Father in Thy Name that my prayer be granted. Make your request O Jesus, who has said " Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass, " through the intercession of Mary Thy Most Holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. Make your request. ( Mark 13:3 ) This is my wonderful brother's prayer and I fervently believe if you say it with faith and confidence Infant Jesus will answer your prayer. May God bless our brother Andrew for his faith and love he carried throughout his short life. Andrew, please intercede and pray for us from Heaven. Loving sister Julie
