Elbert Otis Greenway, 77, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Roxboro Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Roxboro.

A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruby Greenway. He was of the Baptist Faith and was in the Automotive Recycling Business for many years.

Funeral services will be private.

Surviving are his companion, Mildred Williamson of Oxford; daughter, Amanda Greenway Shough (David) of Roxboro, a son, Darrell Greenway of Waco, Texas; sister, Beatrice Wrenn of Oxford; three brothers, Thomas, Cordell and Jimmy Greenway all of Oxford, five grandchildren and two great-grandchilden. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 P.m. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
