I'm a patient and never had the chance to meet Emmi, but as the mom of a 6 year old daughter, I am heartbroken over your loss and wish you strength and peace.

Dr. Barbaro and family I'm so sorry to hear the tragic news of Emmi I've never had the pleasure of meeting her, I have been a patient of Dr. Barbaro for sometime. My heart breaks for you all as a mother I can't imagine the heartache you all must be feeling. Just know that GOD needed an angel and although you all may be separated now you will be reunited again.

Angel, Angel, time to come home, the earth is no longer your place to roam, come claim your wings and soar through the air! Your destination is now your fate, God has chosen you and your date, Angel, Angel, now - you can watch over us all, help guide us towards our call. Angel, Angel-now one with the Lord. So beautiful a place you must have gone! Angel, Angel sing loud your song!

I remember a few years ago Emmi waving her hands, sticking out her tongue smiling and laughing through the car window at me as Heather pulled into her parking space at work. This is when I first realized Emmi had such a fun, outgoing personality. She always seemed to want to make someone smile.Heaven must have needed an upbeat, cheerful angel. Thank you Emmi for your influence in this life

My heart breaks for you and my prayer is that God will provide the strength and comfort you need. So many of us in the community have been blessed by the kindness of you both. I only met Emmi once, when we visited our grandson Joel's class at Fayetteville Academy recently. She and Joel were good friends and made each other laugh. She was truly a sweet child and loved the idea that my husband was a "visiting lecturer" for the class, talking about geology. Our deepest condolences to her family.

Emmi was a beautiful young lady in every way. Happy, healthy, kind, smart, wise for her years, and always looking out for others. This world is a better place for having had Emmi in it. She will always be in my prayers. Our family sends our love and deepest sympathy to your family.

My memories of Emmi will always be of her beautiful spirit. She was beautiful inside and out. She never passed me by without a smile and "hello". One day while in deep conversation with her dad, Emmi realized she had not spoken as they passed. She stopped and called back to me "hello" with her lovely smile. Her beauty will forever live on in the hearts of all. Emmi, you are loved!

I will never forget watching Emmi at the Kids Tri, I was amazed at her swimming ability in the pool, and her blond hair flowing behind her on the bike and run was beautiful to watch. My 5 year old niece and I saw her cross the finish line, and she said "Wow, she's so pretty!" and of course, everyone agreed! Prayers continue, EJB forever!

Emmi was such a nice person. Whenever I saw her she was always smiling and making everyone happy. She was the best soccer player on our team. She had such great talents for soccer. I will miss our best player. Also I always remember how she never gave up and never complained about what coach or anyone told her to do. She was such an amazing girl and she will always be in my heart! Love ya!

We haven't had the pleasure of meeting Emmi, but knowing her parents we know she was an amazing little girl. Our hearts are deeply sadden and go out to the whole Barbaro family. We are so sorry for the loss of your precious Emmi. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My last memory of Emerson was at Ryan's Reindeer run. She was so sweet and happy and a winner! Knowing the kind of young man Ryan was, I know that he has welcomed Emerson into heaven with open arms. Barbaro family..... take comfort in knowing that he is watching over her like a big brother. May GOD bless you all now and forever.

Emmi's beautiful smile will certainly be missed. Be very proud as she touched so many lives through her sweet, loving spirit and selfless acts as she always sought ways to help others. Emmi was a little girl who was truly as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She inspired my daughter McKenna to run her first 5K and McKenna also often asks me if she is as good a soccer player as Emmi. I doubt she ever knew how much McKenna looked up to her. Thank you Emmi for your example.

Emmi was the sweetest little girl in the world. . she had the biggest heart, always smiling, she would make anyone feel good after spending 5 minutes with her. Just seen Emmi with that beautiful smile of hers prior to the holiday break. She ran up to me in the gym lobby so jubilant as she explained her raising money for the American Heart Association,  She was filled with so much joy. Will always remember her. May God comfort this wonderful family. Jalen, Justin, John & Edwina Bellamy are praying for you and your family.

Emmi was a beatiful most polite,careing,lovely little girl. I will alway have her smile in my Heart as she came into the room after School telling me how her day was or just her small talk her smile was always there when she would say "Yes ma Miss Barbara " I will alway have you in my heart Emmi .Love you Emmi! Emmi was a sweet little patient who bravely tolerated shots from nurses at Rainbow Peds. I will always remember her sweet face and brave smile through it all. She will be missed by all but is now an angel in heaven

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Emmi but I sure had the pleasure of meeting her PROUD mom and dad. Emmi was a beautiful little girl with a contagious smile. Rich and Heather you did an an that awesome job with Emmi, I praythat we can all come together to create some type of memorial scholarship fund in her honor.

I have watched Emmi grow up and she was a beautiful girl on the inside and out. Sometimes I would bring my niece with me to her house and she loved Emmi too. My heart is aching for Heather, Rich, Julian and the Barbaro family and I am truly honored to have known her. She was a true blessing to all and she will be greatly missed.

I was lucky enough to have a little conversation with Emmi and Julian on Christmas morning while waiting with mom Heather to get on the flight. That smile of Emmi will always stay with me, I haven't stop thinking and praying about the whole Barbaro family I can't imagine the pain in their heart and as a mom I'm so close to you in prayers.

I was not lucky enough to have known Emmi, but my husband, myself and my two kids were patients of Dr. Barbaro's the years we lived in Fayetteville. We moved away from Fayetteville about 6 years ago but am just heartbroken for all of you. I know if she was anything like her father than she was a loving, caring little girl. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We did not have the pleasure of meeting Emmi but my 4 boys & I have been patients of your Dental practice for 13 years. I loved seeing Emmi at school and out of town with her parents at the Basketball games. Emmi was one of those that stood out in a crowd. Her smile was contageous. She sat in front of me at our last basketball game making duck calls as we discussed the show Duck Dynasty. I remember when I used to come over and swim with Emmi and Julian. We used to have a wonderful time. I will always remember those times we shared (Cam Billups). I will miss her beautiful smile and laughter at the basketball games. You will always be in our hearts. Jerry, Tracy and Cam.

Emmi was a great girl. I loved it when I got to spend time with her over the last summers in Mrs. D and my mom's camps. I remember sitting on the bus with her in my lap and her telling me of all the great times she planned to have after camp with all of her friends. I really enjoyed all the times I got to spend with her. She was a sweet kid. RIP Emmi! You were loved by many. <3

I only saw Emmi a few times, but what a beautiful little girl she was. I can't imagine the loss of someone so Precious in this life, but the good news is We will see her again. She is now in the Loving Arms of Jesus and He will keep her loved and cared for until the day you will hold her again. My prayers are with you .

Emmi was like a sunbeam! Always bright and smiling! She was so sweet. I got to see her every Tuesday and Thursday as she was waiting for her brother Julian's soccer practice to finish, since her soccer practice was already finished. She was always doing cartwheels and flips and asking me to watch. She was very talented on many levels! We love her and the Barbaro family!!

We loved the times Emmi visited our home. She was shy at first but soon warmed up and loved to play with our kitty cat. Her passing is a tragedy of epic proportions. She was such a sweet girl we know she had no problems passing muster for entrance into heaven - we pray that God will give her family the strength to carry on.
