Originally Anglican, Engr. Tumini rededicated his life to Christ fostering a deep and personal relationship with God. He was a member of New Realm Baptist Church Ojo, Lagos before moving his membership to First Baptist Church Festac, Lagos. He participated in online services when health issues arose. Known for his integrity, he was respected for his commitment to honesty and ethical conduct.

Family life

In 1977, Engr. Tumini met his "Enyi Love", Dns. Catherine Tagba Bell-Gam, and they married on April 12, 1980. They had two children, Mr. Tumini N. Bell-Gam and Mrs. Tubonimi P. Tayo, and three granddaughters, Adekiitan Tayo,  Ademide Tayo and Idafiniari Bell-Gam. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, deeply involved in his family's lives despite any distances. He loved spending time with his family and cherished his pets, always having at least one dog at home.
