This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Eric Kolski, 45, born on April 10, 1963 and passed away on November 25, 2008. We will remember him forever.This is HIS story...
Eric was tragically murdered on a cold Tuesday Evening of November 25th, 2008, by two officer's of the Brooklyn Park Police Department. A notoriously known, very aggressive department. They shot him more the 27 times from 5 feet away, using military grade MP-5 semi-automatic guns, along with hollow point 9mm bullets that ripped through his body, not allowing the Donor Society to use any of his organs. Most importantly, he was unarmed, laying on his couch, completely terrified and crying. Sadly, Eric is heard pleading & crying for help earlier on the 911 tape, along with calling his friends and family for help before they shot him. They gave him no time to respond to their aggressive requests, shooting him immediately upon entrance to his home of 25 years. Through conflicting sworn police statements, they began to cover up their mistake's. The forensic evidence & expert witness' speaks for itself. Many other options could have been used. Eric was a very kind man that loved his family, animals and helping people in need.Tributes are short messages commemorating Eric, or an expression of support to his closest family and friends.
