TRIBUTE TO A GREAT WOMAN AND A LOVING MOTHER

Mama, words cannot express how we feel as we heard the news of your demise.
For years we watched how God used you as a vessel to carry out his work whenever we are on vacations, through your soft spoken counsel and advice. A woman of peace always counseling those around you on the importance of peace and love in the family. Mama calls me Ebenwa, my son she fondly named Chiagosigom and my husband "The Prince"

I remember every vacation, Omimi takes banana to Mama every morning and then Saturday mornings "akara" Mama will smile and say "Oh how l miss you whenever you go back to Nigeria" and begin to sing for him.

Mama, you are a pride to womanhood, your self giving love cut across all frontiers.Thank you for the joy you brought to the many people who crossed your path, your life may be gone but you left an indelible mark in our hearts. We know that you are not dead because to live in the hearts of those you love is not to die. We grieve at your departure but we thank God that He gave you to us.

We will miss you, rest in peace till we meet to part no more, we love you Mama!

Mama, Psalm 116 vs 15 says " precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints". Nneoma, Agballanwayi, Ezinne, Woman of God. You are indeed a saint and the wonderful thing is that you are precious in the eyes of the Lord.
What an honour to be associated with you. For you to have raised a daughter like Ifeoma Onochie, tells the whole story. You were not an ordinary woman. You were extra-ordinary by all standards.
Goodbye Mama. You left a clean legacy and I trust your daughter Ifeoma will not let you down. As for me Mama, I promise you that Ifeoma will remain my sister until the last breath I take. Sleep well Mama. The time for rest is now. Rest on blessed woman of God.

Maaaama, Eunice Nwonukwue. This is what I fondly call you and you always answer with so much joy and laughter. When Ifeoma called to say that you no longer speak I know I had to head to Atlanta immediately because anything that will make you not to speak must be serious. What a strong person both physically and spiritually. No illness had the power to take away the joy from you. You always find great reason to glorify God in all situation. You your sight was becoming a challenge you praise God the more and said that God know what you could have done if you had your full sight. You always turn every urgly situation to a moment to praise God. What a joy to have met you. When we met 30 plus years ago. I said to my self what a beautiful woman!!!!!
You loved everybody unconditionally. God used you to touch so many lives. Even in your sick bed you evangelized through your behavior. You draw so many souls to God. You lived by example. There is no pretense with you. we miss you dearly. You are a saint of the most high God. Chidera, Nwamaka, and Ifeka love and mises you grandma

Mama, Nnem O, my wife fondly calls you, you might have left us outwardly but we still have those moments we spent together inwardly in our hearts. Nothing can take away what we know about you. Your Laughter, Your Strength, Your Jokes, Your Passion, Your Commitment, Your Dedication, Your Poise, Your Kindness, Your Talents, Your Vibrancy, Your Smiles, Your Love, Your Cleanliness, Your Faith, Your Testimonies, Your Courage, Your Beauty!!!. Mama you are a Gem, truly Unique! And Only God can fill your absence in our midst.

This is our consolation. You lived by Faith and when it was time to die, you died by Faith.... Glory! Indeed, your memory is blessed (Proverbs‬ ‭10‬:‭7‬ KJV). It was Grace that brought you to this Earth and Grace carried you Home and this, our soul knows very well. For a long time you saw the glimpse of glory and decided you were better off with your Savior and we respected your wish.

Hallelujah! Even in the face of death, your skin glowed, your beauty radiated, how far more glorious this would be when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the
law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus
Christ. (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭54-57‬ KJV).

Shalom! Shalom! Nnem O! By the grace of God we will meet again when the trumpet sounds!

Mormon 9:13
And because of the redemption of man, which came by Jesus Christ, they are brought back into the presence of the Lord; yea, this is wherein all men are redeemed, because the death of Christ bringeth to pass the resurrection, which bringeth to pass a redemption from an endless sleep, from which sleep all men shall be awakened by the power of God when the trump shall sound; and they shall come forth, both small and great, and all shall stand before his bar, being redeemed and loosed from this eternal band of death, which death is a temporal death.
Jacob 4:12
12 And now, beloved, marvel not that I tell you these things; for why not speak of the atonement of Christ, and attain to a perfect knowledge of him, as to attain to the knowledge of a resurrection and the world to come?

Our precious Daughter, Sister, Mother, Mother-in-law, and Grand Mother. It is difficult to say farewell to someone who has been a beacon of light and hope to so many. What I remember most about you is your infectious smile and your love for family and friends. A smile that lightens the heart and brightens the day. Your smile was like a promise that regardless of the hardships we face, things will be better. With a heart so true and tender, you devoted your life to those you loved. To those of us who were fortunate enough to have known you, I say take heart. When we are in need of comfort, we walk down memory lane and there we see you smiling and as we wander slowly back, we seem to hear you say "Don't grieve, don't cry, my family, we'll meet again some day." Safe in the arms of Jesus and free from pain, Rest in peace Mama Chidimma until we meet again. You will forever be in our hearts.

Mama, I still do not believe you are no more with us. When I received the call that you had gone to be with your maker. I felt terribly sad because I had lost an amazing person, my step mum.
I can still remember your advise when you were leaving for America as I asked " hope you won`t stay long?" you responded "I would be back very soon or won`t I be around again for your wedding?" I laughed and said " that`s my mama!"I never knew that would be last time I would set my eye on your beautiful face.
Your love for God is not in doubt. That`s why you would always frown and scold anyone who would wake up in morning and greet you without saying his/her morning prayers. Your voice on phone the last time we spoke was like that of an Angel and very strong that I couldn't think of your passing on. Mama, we will miss you so much.
Rest in bosom of the Lord till meet to part no more.
