婴宁1967年生于中国北京，1986年从北京26中保送到北京师范大学化学系就读，毕业后回26中任教。1993年来美，1999年在美国华盛顿DC的美利坚大学(American University) 获取化学博士学位。先后工作于美国药监局FDA的CBER和CVM。她不仅工作出色，而且热心教育，热心公益，她曾是大华府希望中文学校盖城校区最优秀的中文教师之一，更是NCAP游泳俱乐部，Upper County游泳队，科堡高中游泳队，Rocky Hill初中和科堡高中乐团最热心的义工, 以及社区公益的积极参与者。她善良，无私，乐于助人，是诤友，是良师；更是贤妻，良母和孝顺女儿。
