Our darling Princi, Mama F.S Robinson.
I recall several years after Bakori how you met my sister Linda and I at Balogun market Lagos and you did not only recognize us but also asked after our parents . You were simply a rare gem and treated us all like your biological Children.
We are consoled with the reality that you have gone to a better place where there is no more pain. Rest on my Principal till we meet to part no more. May God console the entire family especially our own very dear sister Kemi Robinson........ Daddy Prof Robinson the boys and indeed all your Bakori daughters.

A rare gem has gone to sleep. May God bless your soul for the love and discipline instilled into the lives of so many of the young girls destiny made to go through your tutelage. I am yet to out grow the memory of how you threatened the supplier who brought substandard loaves of bread for your 'daughters' breakfast. I knew how much you loved each and everyone of us on that day and so did my respect for you go on the increase.
I have followed in your footstep. Discipline is a keyword in my life, home, place of work and the lives of every young one committed to me. I will forever be grateful to God for giving me a mother in you.
Sleep on in peace, Ma. We will sure miss you but our joy rest in the assurance that you are in a better place. Adieu, Principal.

Mama, that was what you were to us all. We came from distance parts of the world, to live in Funtua in Kaduna Nigeria, unaware of what will become of us. But we met you and the empty abode became like a home. Everything I learnt as a teenager came from learning at your feet. Though you are no more , I wil strive to make sure that the legacies you left behind including what I am today, burns on a hill for all to see.
Adios great one. Sabina O

I first heard the word “AUSTERITY” at the assembly and then felt it when our meals changed to Alkama cereal, wheat meal and some leafy soup etc.
Years later when interacting with Bakorians I heard of how you travelled severally on our behalf to the ministry of education and seminars arguing why ‘they’ could do better with funding and all! My respect and appreciation to you leapt many levels!
To a lover of Education and girl child, I say Adieu ma, you’ll always be a part of my memories and a reference subject in my drive for what ONE person can do to cause a change in a seemingly daunting environment.
Forever loved

A rare gem and a mother with a golden heart.

You impacted every life God brought across your path ensuring that the individuals fulfil purpose and destiny. You were not just my Principal but a mother, mentor, guardian and a disciplinarian. You followed the biblical principles of not sparing the rod and not spoiling the child. Thank you for the valuable virtues that you instilled in all your students. I could not have prayed for a better Principal. I join your children to call you blessed and also your husband to praise you. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Proverbs 31:29.
Adieu Mrs F S Robinson (Princy). Mother of many and great nations. You are a joy to many generation. Your legacy lives on. You will be greatly missed. Gone but not forgotten.

Principal F. S. Robinson; my dear Princy
As a young still impressionable child from a sheltered background Bakori was a bit of a shock! Your words of wisdom and calm brought a kind of relief in that storm that I will never forget. I still remember you telling my dad how much promise you saw in me and I remember thinking ‘but how could she possibly know me’. But you did. You saw beyond our scraggly little frames. You saw way beyond and you nurtured us. Look what your girls are doing around th world today! I’ll forever be grateful you were my Princy.
May your family find comfort and peace through this trying time.

I pray that the Lord would comfort your family, your friends and all Bakori girls, in Jesus name Amen.

Dearest princi

Thoughts of you always warms my heart with lovely memories of the fun, good, bad and ugly times at FGGC Bakori.

The memories are never too far away because my best and lifelong friendships were formed there and we still have a lot of good laughs whenever we have the opportunity to remember those good old days ... and the role you played in helping to prep us for life beyond FGGC Bakori.

I thank God for the you

I bless God for your life and for causing our paths to cross. I am ever so proud that I was in the prestigious F.G.G.C Bakori under your tutelage. I look back and wow! did I have a great time in school! Going to school in those days for me was pure fun. Because of the balanced, growth environment that you cultivated, not only academics but in the discipline, creativity, nurture of the female child.

So great was the impact of school life in Bakori on me, that my  junior sisters earnestly looked forward to getting into school.

When barely a term after your sendforth, I along with a few other girls got suspended from school. I recall saying to myself, 'Princy wouldn't have suspended me'; because you would never have punished a 'first-time' error with a 'sledge hammer'.  You were a strict disciplinarian, who knew the right measure of correction to apply at all times. We absolutely trusted your discipline.

Though the curtains are drawn on the stage of your life, the backstage ranges on, your influence, your impact is indelible, forever in the lives of your girls. We celebrate you ma!!

Sleep on our dear Princy;

Sleep on Mrs F. S. Robinson.

I can see you walking from room to room in the dormitory on inspection days, I can see you walking into the hall on assemble days and complete silence enveloping the atmosphere, I can see your car packed in the administrative block and every student running back to class shouting "Princy is around"......Many years have passed but it's still all fresh in my memory. I learnt so much:- cleanliness, punctuality, respect, self esteem, hard work etc from you as my principal. If I am to write my autobiography, it would definitely not be complete without telling your story as my principal in the highly esteemed unity college (FGGC Bakori). Thank you , Thank you, Thank you. Rest on in the bossom of the Lord till we meet to part no more.

I will miss you forever
