Uncle Frank, such a kind, gentle man. So many memories come flooding back in the countless holiday parties, block parties, camping adventures, weddings and so much more. Lots of kids of all ages always running around their house. The Honore house was like a beacon on their SI block of a happy, fun loving family. Getting crowded up there in Heaven, keep watch over us all.

Hard to believe your gone Dad, but you're at peace now and with our dear Mom. It was an honor to call you Dad and I'm blessed that you taught me the important life lessons & values that stay with me throughout my life. You should be proud that all your hard work has paid off for your children, grandchildren and great grandson are in a good place in life now !

Will fondly remember all the trips that you and Mom took us on when we were younger as it was not easy to travel with five kids. Plenty of golf rounds will be remembered as well as our trip to Augusta years ago with Chris. God bless you for all the trips you made with Mom over the years as you made her so happy.

A special thanks goes out to my brother Kevin who did an unbelievable job of looking out for Dad during his stay in Harmony. My brother Chris should not be forgotten as he stayed with My Dad in Florida after Mom's passing. All the staff at Harmony should not be forgotten as they were great with my Dad.

God bless you Dad and make sure you give a big hug to Mom for me in Heaven...

Stephen

Frank Honoré, a cherished soul of 93 years from Virginia Beach, Virginia, gently left us on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. Born into the bustling life of Brooklyn, New York, Frank's early years laid the foundation for a life of dedication, love, and joy. His service in the US Army from 1951 to 1953, during the Korean War, spoke volumes of his bravery and commitment to his country. It was in 1957 that Frank and Maureen Powers joined hearts, embarking on a beautiful journey together that flourished in Staten Island, New York, nurturing five wonderful children: Michelle (Steve) , Stephen (Nami), Scott (Peggy), Christopher, and Kevin (Karen). The legacy of their love continues to bloom through seven delightful grandchildren: Bill, Danielle, Michael, Sean, Kyle, Evan, Emily and great grandson Tristan.

The year 1983 marked a new chapter as Frank and Maureen embraced the warm community of Virginia Beach, following his company's move to Norfolk, Virginia. Their faith and fellowship found a home at the Church of Ascension, and they cherished their involvement with the Irish American Society of Tidewater, weaving themselves into the fabric of their new community.

Upon retiring as the Vice President of Operations at Chilean Nitrate on December 31, 1991, Frank continued to embrace life’s joys, celebrating a memorable hole-in-one at Kempsville Lakes Golf Course on August 25, 1998, a story shared with smiles and pride.

A gathering to honor Frank’s life will be planned, where he will be lovingly inurned alongside his dear Maureen at the Church of Ascension in Virginia Beach, ensuring their spirits remain united.

In remembering our father, Frank, we hold dear the warmth, love, and resilience he shared with all who knew him.

Love, Michelle, Stephen, Scott, Christopher and Kevin
