Happy Birthday Dad,hope everything is OK. Chrismas this year was at Sandra's and everyone was fine, wishing you were there but in spirit i guess you were. Lucas mention to me that if you were there you would of had lots of fun. Mum was a bit down but we kept her comfortable & loved. Lots of love your son Robert.

When I was asked to write something on the memorial for Frankie's 1st. Anniversary, I was not sure that I would be able to do it - revival of the sadness and loss seemed all consuming.

Frankie was a rich man,not with money or material possession but with the love, understanding & compassion of his children, his in-laws and his wife Sabine. For in the magic of this love God was always present and so he was able to overcome a lot of difficulties during his lifetime . I AM sure that he is now looking down on us satisfied of his good work he has done on this earth.

In Memory of my dear brother Frankie at Christmas time.

They say that time heals,but whilst Christmas brings back memories of happy times with you, it also brings pain knowing you are no longer here.This pain is indescribable. It shouldn't be this way, we should be looking forward to a joyful Christmas, instead, there is only sorrow and the blinking back of tears.

You left behind a world that's simply never been the same. Your presence lingers on, you are always nearby and will live on and never die.
