It's a Sunday afternoon, and if you were here, we'd come out to visit like we did so many times. Mom would make a big lunch or dinner and we'd hang out for hours doing nothing. It was one of my families' favorite things to do. We all miss you so very much. As you know, another Father's Day came and went. Although it was hard, I know one day we will celebrate together again. I love you!

I was so happy you visited me in a dream yesterday.I needed that.It had been several months since you came to me in a dream,and I loved it and it is what seems to get me through.I am going to go see The Lone Ranger in a couple weeks.I wish you were going with me because it was you who use to say"Why don't they make a movie about The Lone Ranger" So smile babe,I am going for you <3

I just spotted our 1st hummingbird of this year.I got excited for both of us :) I miss you everyday but it's days like this when I miss you most.Miss Fluff misses you too babe.I do the best I can to comfort her.Love you and am comforted knowing one day we will be together again!

I am missing you as much as ever.Today I was grocery shopping and there were so many things I almost picked up,and then I thought...No thats not something I like,that was Gene's favorite.I suppose I will always do that.On my way home I drove through the cemetery just to spend some time a little closer with you.I am so proud to have been your wife!

Thinking of you with a very heavy heart today. This last year has gone so incredibly fast. Although I am still incredibly sad, and miss you terribly, I have so many wonderful memories and thoughts of you. You took me in and loved me when you didn't have to. I will forever be grateful. Some of my favorite memories were follwing dad around when I was younger and he was working on a project. I loved to hand him tools and he always explained and taught me. His hands were so big for such a small stature man. I loved them, there was such strength in them. I was never scared of anything when I was with him, he always made me feel so safe, I always knew he would protect me.

I want to say "Thank You" to all of you for the nice comments about my sweet hubby and your dad and grandpa! I We all loved him so much.I just think this is a nice way to get to share memories with each other.I am only doing the free part right now because I don't really understand how this all works.It says if I pay $79.00 I can do more,but I want to get advice first! Grandma you did a great job on this grandpa is so proud! I know it is very difficult for you everyday but just remember he is with you every step of the way :) Grandpa was awesome with many talents he is missed by many loved ones but no one forget one day we will all be with him again and you will be greeted by that unforgetable smile. Go Cardinals :D

Gene was my true soul mate,he was funny,smart and had the sweetest nature! He loved his family and relished time spent with his friends.He was very talented,he could sing and play many instruments.I miss him terribly!When Christmas comes it will be the worst time for me.He loved it soo much.He would decorate the outside till it was just right!He was just like a child over it! Love him<3

Grandpa was definitely the most talented man i have ever met. He could literally do everything under the sun. I loved listening to him play music with the huge smile on his face:) Anytime i came over, he brightened my day and he could always make me smile! I love him so much and i know everyday he is watching over me.. He is my hero now and always will be. Love you Grandpa<3

Thank you, Mom, for making this. It's a wonderful idea. I know your heart is breaking. I wish there was something I could do for you. Dad was such a Huge Blessing in our lives! Christmas is going to be hard; very hard. But knowing he's going to be with us in spirit is going to help. :) I love and miss him so very much!

Thinking of you…I have a feeder right outside my kitchen window, and the most beautiful red bird was perched there this morning. We just kept looking at each other for what seemed like literal minutes. So, I just started to talking to “you”. 
I have the absolute best memories of you! You brought everything I was missing into my life; things I didn’t even know I needed. You changed my life! I love and miss you everyday. ❤️

It’s been just a couple days since your birthday, and I have been thinking a lot about you in these last few days. Finn Thomas is here and has been the biggest blessing in my life. The older he gets, the more I wish he would have had a chance to meet you. I can just picture you sitting in your recliner with him on your lap, both of you smiling at each other and you telling him stories, singing to him, loving on him. He would have loved you so much… almost as much as I do. But as he starts to understand, I will make sure he knows you. I will tell him about your heart for others, your selflessness, your work ethic, and the way you warmed any room with your smile and sweet soul. I hope he has a little of you in his big personality.

I hope you enjoyed your heavenly birthday. Thank you for looking out for us, especially Grandma. We love you so much and miss you always.
