George Fuller always had a big smile and hearty laugh. When I went to Goodwater High School in 1974, George and I became instant friends. On the football field, he was amazing! I played quarterback for the Yellowjackets, and George was my Fullback. All I needed to do was give George the ball! There were very few people that could tackle by themselves. He would just roll over them like a "Freighttrain". Thus the name. He would come to our hardware store in downtown Goodwater and visit me and my dad often. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Rest in peace, my great friend and teammate!
