Been a tough week Dad, Vin & Rosie's Mom died, The funeral home made me think of when Mom and I went for you, If passing is part of life, why does it hurt so much? Vin wondered if you met his Mom in Heaven. The innocent heart of a child. He wore his BLUES and carried the coffin. He said Grampy would be proud, huh? I love you and hope you know how much you mean to Me, Dave & the kids!

I am glad my son was able to meet him 3 days before his passing. That really meant a lot to both myself and my dad. You are forever loved & missed by many!! Keep looking down on Grammy and making her feel your presence, she really misses you! Love you always!

I will always remember holidays at Grammy & Grampys house. No matter what, the entire house was decked out with decorations!! Grampy would take me in the computer room and attempt to teach me to play guitar and even though I tried for 2.5 secs each time he would still gladly show me each time I came over. I miss his one liners and sarcasm, that lives on in each of us I think!

I also want to add that the photos you have on here are incredible, brings back so many memories! I remember coming to your house on Christmas, playing pool in the basement and Uncle George trying to teach me how to use the pool stick and I could never do it right. He was always so patient and so nice! What a great man, who had such a great impact on us kids! :)

As I look at these photos of you rotate one after another, I can feel my heart pound in my chest. So many things going thru my mind. You were the best DAD ever. I miss sitting with and learning from you. Dave misses you so much that he doesn't even like to think about how much. Thank you for loving him the way you did. You taught him how to be a great husband and father by your example.

I got a letter yesterday for your LHC Dedication date 10/13... Made me think of you even more today Dad. When I get upset or sad, I clean... so today I painted, cleaned, and rearranged my house (wonder what that meant?). I Love You Dad and Miss You Lots! I'm holding on to what I have been taught and believing that you are well and visiting with Aunt Grace and all our other loved ones...

I've been told in my life that "I talk too much" well, if I am given a place to talk to you dad, I am going to use it so here I am again. I was thinking of fun things we use to do: going on BIG BLUE, SEDONA's Church in the Rock, you at Bryana's Citizenship Ceremony, she loved you there. She is going to be a Cardio Nurse because of you. Even with your passing you changed her life. Thank You!

This is a beautiful sight & tribute to my Uncle George, he will be missed by everyone he came in contact with or who ever knew him. He had a unique personality & a kind and loving way about him. When you talked to him he made you feel special. He had a dynamic way about him & when he spoke to you he looked into your soul & heart. He will be missed but not forgoten.

September 10 is almost over... And I have to say I thought of dad as much today as every other day. I guess it's not the day he passed away that I will remember each year, but rather the days he Lived, Shared, Taught, and Loved... I love you Dad!

He was a great friend. I met George in the Army in '54. We became friends immediately, being from Queens. He was a solid citizen and a nice guy. I miss talking with him. We both liked Frank's music. All the best to the Quinn's.

Thank you for the beautiful family you created with Ginny. I am so glad to be a part of the Quinn bunch. I do wish we had gotten to know each other, but the stories shared keep me smiling. You're thought of so fondly by this big beautiful family. I will never look at a sunset again, without thinking of you.

I'm finding it hard to write with tears running down my face, Don't know if they are tears of sorrow because I miss dad so much or happiness because I have so many great memories of dad. The simplest things like going to get rolls & buns or going thru the car wash... Dad always had a way to make me think (Falling Rock lives back there). THANK GOD HE WAS MY DAD! Always loved never forgotten

It has been two years today that you went to Heaven...I don't know if its been a long time but I really know how much I miss you..It seems to be getting a little easier but you are always on my mind and that's a good thing...I see you here and see you there and things just seem to appear out of no where that only you could have done..But that's "very OK"

Thank you for what you did for all of us, thank you for sharing your love of music, your love of baseball, your love of cars..things I continue to love to this day. Sure wish you were around to talk to, could use some of your advice, guess I'll have to keep talking to the sky. You always had a way to make a point, even if you didn't say a thing, it could just be an expression. Love you!!!!

we had laugh after laugh when Tommy was here in Havasu....

He left the house.. one morning while everyone was sleeping so of course we had to send the troops out to find him...George even checked the wash (in case he fell)..about 3 hours later  we got a phone call that he was in KMart !!!! 3 miles away from our house........We took a ride to Laughlin and the casino was having a drawing ..for St Patricks Day ...we all filled ot the paper work and waited around for the drawing....( you had to be there ) about 17 names were called and finally  George Quinn won $100.00 ..Tommy was a little perturbed he said he was more Irish cause his name was Thomas George Patrick Quinn....just kidding..

lots & lots of laughs

It  was unbelievable how two people could have the same likes and dislikes...George and I both liked music..he Frank Sinatra.... me country...can't believe how much I care for Frank Sinatra now...We both liked baseball starting off with the New York Mets..We went to many games at Shea Staduim...they continued to be our favorite until the Arizona Diamondbacks became our  #1 team...We went to a few games at Bank One Ballpark but with the 4 hour drive down and back it became too much of a hassle...besides it was more comfortable in our own family room...the atmosphere at the ballpark was great so we did enjoy ourselves.

We both enjoyed going to Laughlin not only to gamble but also to see the shows..We went so many times to the casinos that after awhile we were burnt out and stayed away...Our latest venture was going across the lake to the California side & their casino..The best times going to Laughlin was when we went with my brother in law Tommy.....Laugh after laugh just silly things that  make you laugh..Now Tommy ..Grace ..Marie...Dot...& Billy and George are all up in heaven together so I can imagine the goings on now...

Grace  left behind 8 grown children and their families...Dot and Dutch left behind 2 adult children and their families..Marie & Bill also left 2 adult children and famlies...Bill was single...Tommy left behind 4 adult children and their families..George left ginny & 7 adult children & lots of grandkids and great grand kids...Bob is the only one left with lots and lots of memories!
