Dearest Mom,
I love and miss you so much, its almost too much to handle. There are so many things I want to tell you and I know your aware of what's in my heart and mind. You were right about one thing Mom...I'm a strong woman, and just like you in that aspect. I over came some things in my life that at the time, I felt I couldn't. It has made me who I am right now. I have no regrets, because its pointless to dwell, or attempt to change the past, or things I have no control of. I do regret one thing. I wish I would have realized sooner that you were sick, and been close enough to take care of you. I would have...you know that. Mom, you were and always will be my best friend. You are my heart and soul, and I will never stop missing you. When I talk to you now, I hope you can hear me and understand. I will always need you Mom...forever.
All my love forever,
Terrie

Ho Ho ooohhhh!

January 27, 2016

No clue what year this was, but I do know it was in Arkansas...Little Rock A.F.B.

That tree!!!!!! I hated that tree with a passion!  Especially because it was metal and each little piece was razor sharp on the edges and I cut my hand a few times on the darn thing. Mom also had this color wheel that sat on the floor, maybe 5 feet from tree and it plugged in and this wheel turned and illuminated differint colors onto the fake tin tree. The color wheel made this grinding noise as it turned, and sounded almost like someone farting. I remember asking Mom "Why do we have to have this?" She said "because I like it". I told her it was farting, and she got furious because I said the word "fart". I got sent to my room. I heard her and my Dad laughing out in living room about it....

For Mom...

January 27, 2016

I know...my hair!!! No matter how I have my hair, Mom never was pleased with it. This pic is fairly recent. I remember I had my hair dyed "fuscia plum" once right after high school. I did it just to piss you off Mom! And yes, it did very much. I remember seeing tears in your eyes. That hurt me...so before I had it dyed back to brown, I had some blue and purple temporary dye put in just to drive you more crazy!! I also had it pinned all up on one side so it looked almost like I shaved half my head. Instead of going postal...you laughed! It was hilarious! Guess the joke was on me because the temp dye wouldn't rinse out right away. It was awful!

Carsyn...my fur son

January 27, 2016

Mom...you never met Carsyn but I've had him for 12 yrs. He literally saved my life and I love him like he's my child. He was with me through the lowest points in my life, and gave me the will to keep going. You would love him Mom...
