Hello Dad, Happy Birthday to you darling, you are very much missed by me & your Granddaughter Debby she still remembers you although she was only 2 & 8 months when we lost you all those years ago. I went on to have another Son Stephen who is now 46 years old with 4 adult children & 2 grandchildren Cain & Faith which now makes my family 10 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren to date I wish you could have met them all you would have loved them as much as I do but it was not to be my love. I have been ill myself this year Dad I was diagnosed with Cancer of the lung in July luckily it was early stages & everything happened so fast after that I had an operation to remove part of my lung in September & am pleased to say it managed to remove the lot & did not spread so I am now clear but need regular check ups to make sure it does not come back needless to say do not smoke & never will again & I thank God that I am still alive, I know you & me & Mum will be together again one day but I am hoping that I can be around to see my great Grandchildren grow some more my eldest is 12 & youngest is 8 months old' God Bless you my darling Dad until we meet again I will keep your memory safe in my heart always as I have done for the past 50 years I keep a photo of you & Mum by my bed so I can say goodnight to you both I love you Dad I have never stopped you were my world then & nothing has changed although I can no longer see or touch you I feel you are always close by you live on in my heart, Goodnight my love, your loving daughter Meg xxxx

Hi Dad, iust remembering whe you used to ferry me & Lynne to the ice rink in Altrincham, you always made sure we were safe I was 13 Lynne 11 we skated quite a lot as you know, but you were always there to deliver us safely both ways, I have really lovely memories of those times & my whole childhood with you & Mum two loving happy parents. I had a wonderful childhood you both saw to that, we may not have been rolling in money back then but we knew Me, Gillian & Alan what love was because you & Mum gave us plenty our childhood was lovely Dad. When you left us i felt robbed I was 18 Gill 16 & Alan 14 years old, it was so hard Dad not to have you in our lives anymore especially for me with 2 small children who never stopped asking me where you were, they use to play on the boat swing you bought them for Christmas the year you left us they kept looking up to heaven & shouting can you see us Grandad it broke my heart, They were far too young for me or Mum to explain where you had gone & that their beloved Grandad was`nt coming back to them a very hard time for us all. Years have passed my darling Dad but happy memories of you I keep in my heart & always will My love for you will last an eternity I think of you always God Bless & keep you safe your devoted daughter Meg xxx
