In 1990, Harold had surgery to correct an anueryzm in his brain. This eventually led to the advance of Alzheimer's Disease.  He was able to remain at home where he was faithfully & lovingly cared for by Alice and his family.  In August 2013, Harold moved to the Nebraska Veteran's Home in Norfolk where he enjoys visits from Alice, the kids, grandkids and great-grands.
