Hazel Mae Campbell Thomas, 85, of Oxford, entered her heavenly home on August 3, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. She was born July 2, 1933 to William and Addie Belle Newton Campbell. She was a member of Mt. Creek Baptist Church and attended Stovall Church of God. She was a supervisor at Ideal Fastener and then co-owner/operator of Humpty Dumpty daycare.
She is survived by her son, Wade Thomas (Wanda), daughter, Barbara Moore, granddaughter, Wendy Michelle Keeton (T.J.), grandsons, Bobby Champion, Dusty Champion, Stephen Champion, great grandchildren, Seth, Faith, Zack, Dhamon, MaKayla, Nick and Bella, great-great granddaughter, Emerson, sister, Joyce Grant (Roy) and sister-in-law, Helen Campbell, and many loving nieces and nephews.
She also had a special group of “McDonald’s” family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Thomas, the love of her life, son, Baby Boy Thomas, sisters, Mary Bowen and Estelle Hobgood and brothers, Billy Campbell and Melvin Campbell.
The family would like to Thank everyone for their love, prayers, food and acts of kindness.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Mountain Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Carroll Glasscock, Rev. Lamar Wheeler and Rev. Norman Tally.
Visitation will be held in the fellowship hall of the church from 1:30 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
