Helen Bellerjeau, born in 1923, died peacefully on August 24, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She will be most remembered for her love for her family. She cherished time spent together deeply and believed family was the most important thing in life. Helen was known to all as “MomMom.”

She also loved LBI. Throughout her 95 years, she enjoyed fishing and crabbing at the shore and shared her affinity to her special place with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was an avid Phillies’ fan that enjoyed the game at home or in the stands, and she also loved to travel, read and spend time with her friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband William Bellerjeau Jr., and her son, William Bellerjeau III. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Stephenson, grandchildren,  great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Per her request, there will be no formal memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations in her honor to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Aunt Helen was my husband Frank's very loved Aunt. She was always welcoming and loving to me and my children whether we were with Frank or not. Knowing she was in the world always made me smile. I will miss that beautiful spirit.
