Herbie Berry (68) of Millville went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2021; he passed away peacefully.
Herbie was an enthusiast outdoorsman. He enjoyed growing up on the Schooner Landing Road, Menantico Creek where he spent his childhood hunting and fishing with his father and brother. On the dock of the creek he enjoyed summer gatherings with his mother, father, sister, and brother, Aunt Pearl, Uncle Jimmy and other family members.
Herbie was employed with the State of New Jersey until his retirement. After retirement he and his wife Gloria spend time enjoying life by doing the things they loved the most such as fishing at the creek.
He is survived by his wife Gloria J. Berry, step-sons Donald Ferus, Matthew Ferus, and William Shaffer. He also leaves behind his sister Grace Gutzler (Tom) of Oxford, PA and brother Leamon Berry (Gina) of Philadelphia, NY, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Herbie is predeceased by his parent Herbert H. Berry and Mary Jane Berry.
Services will be private.
