ForeverMissed
We created this memorial website in memory of our Daddy, High Chief Boniface N Ilechukwu (Iduu Ekwueme) A Brother, A Husband, A Father, A Grandfather, A Great Man, A Legend, A Knight, A Leader,.... the list goes into paragraphs.

A GREAT MAN who was celebrated every day of his life and will be celebrated every day of our lives.

Dad lived till his 80th year, born on June 5, 1942, and passed unto a more beautiful place on September 17, 2022. We will remember him forever. He lives on in our lives, our minds, and eternally in our memories. Our Dad "is" a very cheerful man, a music lover, a perfect Dancer, a story teller, such a funny being full of life, so loving.

He would light up a room with his presence, he would make you laugh any opportunity he gets, he would sing and dance for you.

Odogwu!!!! Daddy lives, and until we get to hug and kiss him again, we would tell his life achievements and stories to the world.

Please feel free to share your memories of him, share a story you remember, write him a short letter, send him a hug, let him know that you are thinking of him, everyday....

Ps: (If you get emotional from the audio playing and need some quiet time here, you can mute the audio from the top right hand of this page, we all understand.)

Soledad, my one and only Dad. How my siblings will always send me whenever they want something from you. How I managed your office for months when you had eye surgery. On my wedding day, I missed you walking me down the aisle, because you were completely down, but we drove straight down to the house and had that reception dance in your sitting room. Your prayers will never depart us. Your encouraging words goes straight to the heart. I love you Dad.

It's been 11 days since the 17th, and everyday I wake up wishing that I could take back the hands of time. I wake up feeling sad that I'm moving further away from the day I saw your last. It still feels like a dream daddy. It's a reality I really haven't accepted, not yet, but I'm trying, we are all trying to stay strong through this, for you Dad. We love you endlessly, until we get to see you again.

Distance was a barrier for you to be part of my daily life, but I enjoyed the little moment I spent together with you. Your dancing steps always made me laugh. I looked forward to visiting you again, but I didn’t know you will be gone soon.
Thanks for the quality of love and life you gave to my hubby. You will always be my special hero. I will get to see you again someday in heaven.

Goodbye big DaDdY

I still hear your voice dad, everyday. I know I might not be seeing you in a very long time (which is a very hard and harsh reality to accept), but your memories are so fresh and vivid in my mind and it's because you are still here, I know you are. I tell myself that you traveled and you'll be gone for a while, but I know I will see you someday. My heart is sore and will be for a very long time, with all these different emotions that I'm trying so hard to navigate and live with, but I'm glad I can find some consolation knowing that where you are is a better place than this cruel word. No pains, no stress, no sorrow, just pure BLISS. You're a living LEGEND and there can never be two of you. Iduu Ekwueme!!! I love you so dearly DADDY.

Ps: I promise to write you regularly.

Dad,you are the best father, big daddy, uncle, brother and son ever. Always know how to make people and your family happy. Always with a sexy smile and guess who has your smile ?? Yes,you guessed right,is ifuruifu.
In as much as you are my dad,you still regard me as your mother cos that's who I am. Your smile alone can make a frowned face smiley . You r exceptional.
You are unique and special. I see you here and there cos you never left us,you only are absence physically.
You might be out of sight(physically) but not out of mind. I know you will continue to protect us from harm and pray for us as we will always do so. You are such a handsome, cutie bobo even in your old age,you still look young and agile. You were and still are a legend. We love you dad.

Hallo Dad,....I have received a lot of calls how people are expressing how much they miss you.
My Daddy is the man of the people, approach him and your problems are solved. My Daddy will always give to the people, he will make sure he has the highest bid when is comes to donations, he is a great doer The Iduu Ekwueme. He reached out to the world, a great leader who will never mislead his people, he will always fight injustice , People will rather come to him than go to the police. You need to see his laughter and great smiles ( the ones I missed the most). Such a charming Man even at his old age.

The stories about u Dad is endless. I miss u dearly

Hi Dad how is it out there, .....??
Greetings from earth ❤. ...I miss u damn much ,but its ok cause I know u are better and looking out for us.

I want to tell you a bit about my Dad...
I had a Dad and I had a Daddy and now I have Father...
When you see my Dad, you see pure discipline. You see a man whose words are A and Amen....The Great Ekwueme .
When he speaks in public, people listen soo attentively, and I will seat by the corner smiling soo proudly, to the extent that at times when I walk by, people will be like, "that is Nwa-Iduu ( meaning Iduu's son), I was respected, attended to just for being his son, he, with the help of my sweet Mum turned me and my sweet and lovely siblings into disciplined figures that made us who we are today. My Dad is an action in physical figure...name it, jokes,...dance,...Fun....faith....wisdom....attraction.....stories.....struggle.....fight.....entertainment.....celebrations ..... law and rights.....whatever he does, he will see to the end of it and u can never cheat it him.....Daddy, the truth about u is that the story about u will almost never end....I love u so very much.....and I feel your smile
