Mr. Hosea Bell Elijah Riley was born on August 3, 1932 to the late Mr. Elijah Riley and Mrs. Annie Dora Wooten.

At an early age, he was added to the body of Christ and became a member of The Church of Christ.

In 1953, he was joined in marriage to the late Mrs. Mary Emma Riley, and to this union eight children were born. He was preceded in death by one son, Mr. Charles Samuel Riley.

Mr. Riley departed this life on Wednesday, September 28th 2011. He went peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Rockford, Alabama.

He is survived by seven children; Mrs. Mary Dean (Roger) Gunn of Sylacauga, AL, Mr. Larry Riley of Chesterfield, GA, Ms. Carolyn Floyd of Alexander City, AL, Mr. Ricardo (Sharon) Riley of Rockford, AL, Ms. Angelita Kelly of Ray Community, AL, Ms. Judy Riley of Birmingham, AL, and Mr. Prentis Riley of Mobile, AL, one brother, Mr. Clarence Ray Riley of Tacoma WA, one sister, Mrs. Judy Kay (James) Davis of Austin, TX, twenty six grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend Mr. John (Boo) Presley.
Burial will follow at Church of Christ Cemetery.
