Mr Hugh was one of heard county finest. Will be sorely missed
Mr. Hugh Daniel Nelms, age 79 of Franklin, Georgia passed away at the Emory Mid Town Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, August 29, 2014.
Funeral services for Mr. Nelms were conducted on Monday, September 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Stutts Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Tom Lipham and Mark Williams officiating. Music was provided by Joan Brazeal and Ricky Gore. Those serving as pallbearers were Ricky George, Randy George, Ricky Adams, Rick Embrey, Fred Harcrow, and Todd Turner. Honorary pallbearers were Johnathon Nelms, Aidan Nelms, Wayne Sanders, Shane Sanders, and Robbie Bussey. The interment followed in the Salem Church Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted however those who wish may make donations to the Salem Church in Franklin, Georgia.
Due to the ill health of Mrs. Nelms the family respectfully requests no house calls. Those who wish can deliver food to Mr. Nelms son’s home at 151 Judy Road, Franklin, Georgia.

It is with a heavy heart and fond memories that my family here in North Carolina say Until We Met Again. Noticed at Mother's funeral how frail Hugh had become, but never, ever though the Lord would be calling so soon. We pray the the family receives the comfort to continue on in Hugh 's fashion. We will be see you soon, Debbie and family
