Ian is survived by his parents, Greg and Kelly Bole of Hubert; sister, Sarah Bole and fiancé, 1st Lt. Brent Goddard of Hubert; sister, Rachel with husband, Sgt. William Michener and their daughter, Evelyn Grace of Parris Island, S.C.; paternal grandmother, Judith Bole of Grand Haven, Mich.; along with nine aunts and seven uncles.

Ian graduated from SUNY Alfred; was a veteran of the U.S. Marines at Camp Lejeune, including a deployment to Afghanistan and was currently employed at Vulcraft. He had a wonderful sense of humor and lived life to its fullest. He loved riding his Harley, weight lifting and listening to music, but above all, he loved his family, especially his niece, Evelyn Grace.
