Mrs. Rowe was born Saturday, March 24, 1923, in Lanett, Alabama the daughter of the late Genie Ray and James Henry McGlon. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from West Point Pepperell after 20 years. Mrs. Rowe loved her church and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed being with her family, caring for her flowers, feeding her birds and reading her Southern Living magazines.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Tony) Mitcham of LaFayette; her grandson, Robert (Angel) Ogle, James (Charity) Ogle, Jason Rowe and Mark (Susan) Mitcham; her granddaughters, Lynne (Scott) Windsor and Beth (Celso) Acevedo; her great grandchildren, Gage (Cassie) Ogle, Hailey, Ogle, Jordan Ogle, Jeramie Weldon, Taylor Mitcham, Faythe Windsor, Mason Welch, Myles Welch and Madilyn Welch; and her great great grandson, Kyler Ogle.
