Memories can be factual, and I certainly could make a list of things that mom said and did that would be worthy of tributes. But when I look instead for my perception of what it was like just being with mom - without the "doing" - I'm simply full of the sense of happiness. Happily grateful...

Meeting Mr. Right

Iris and Ken met on a double date -- Ken with friend Lorraine and Iris with someone else.  They went to a dance together, discovering on the way that both Iris and Ken knew all the words to the songs on the car radio.  By the end of the dance Iris and Ken were together...for the next 50 years.
