THE LIFE OF JAMES J. EVANOCK

February 12, 2019

The story goes back to as far as I can remember when James was at the Laundromat with mom sitting in one of the laundry baskets and one of our oldest sisters; I do believe Sheri, was pushing him around and it tipped over and James hit his head. This story later on concluded as the result of his grand mal seizure disorder that he developed since.

Despite his disability nothing ever could stop James though, as he was quite the rebellion of them all. From stealing Candy Bars out of the back of a Warehouse truck, to being quite the ladies man. It seemed each week there was a new one, and I could never keep them straight. They would come to the house, and James would introduce them, and all I could say is, "what happened to so and so?"  Lol

Later on all those love affairs resulted in the making of four handsome sons: James Johnathan Jr. Evanock, Samuel Christopher Evanock, Todd Ross, and Shane Evanock, and three beautiful daughters: Tina Clark, Jessica Pinzone, and Shanna Evanock. James also has a grandson Zander Clark, and granddaughter baby Abigail whom passed and is in loving care of her Papas hands. James will also soon be a proud Papa of another grandson Malachi James.

Besides his love for lovers, and his love for his children and grandchildren, James also had two really close people that I can remember him being around the most; his best friend Steve and cousin Mike Keith, and I have heard some of the greatest stories from them each. Steve and Mike may you carry those happy memories with you always.

James was an avid outdoorsman, and thrived on his love for Hunting and Fishing, but he also had a passion for Coin Collecting and Metal Detecting, and his Labradors. He loved Classic Rock, Country, and a bit of 80's R&B from Boys to Men to AC/DC to Kane Brown. His favorite song was Highway to Hell by AC/DC. James also showed interest in Breakdancing and at one time had thoughts to open a club calling it, "Ole School" and incorporating breakdancing to bring it back.

James also loved to cook, and was known for his delicious homemade Spaghetti sauce that he would let simmer for days. He was also known for his homemade Stew some made with Deer and Rabbit. If James wasn't cooking he was enjoying his moments with his son Samuel eating Pizza & Chicken Wings, or enjoying Davidsons, and Chinese.

Out of many great factors; James also faced many battles, and leaving us was a great tragedy amongst us all; and with that being said, I pray that with this knowledge, that we all be kind to one another, and mindful; of the hidden battles we each face, and that he will be remembered as he was and that his legacy may live on forever.
