Two years ago I was sitting with Janice and she mentioned they were going to get a puppy. They noted they wanted a male. My daughter Andrea mentioned to me that she knew of a family who had this tiny puppy who they no longer wanted. I asked her to bring me the puppy sight unseen. I took him home and he became part of our family I already had a female Chihuahua  (Chica) and a domestic cat (Rogue). I named him Milo Tommy Harris  after one of the Chicago Bear's. He was very lovable, playful and even participated in the St Patrick's day parade sitting on the float. Well when I thought about it I knew Janice and Carlos would be the best family for Milo. I sent pictures and then we had an overnight visit. You all know the rest they bonded. I know Milo brought companionship and happiness to Janice for the last years of her life.

I remember our road trip in her orange Camaro driving to Southern Illinois. Cathy Koblick, Alice, and myself sometime in the 70's. What a blast!
