Janie Hunt Dickerson, 90, a resident of 203 West Thorndale Drive, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at The Oaks of Mayview in Raleigh, NC.
A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette Elam Hunt, a member of West Oxford Baptist Church and retired from Oxford Fabrics.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel, Oxford, NC by Rev. Wes Garner, Jr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Surviving are her daughter, Betsy Forsythe (Fred) of Cary, a son, Ray Dickerson (Judy) of Foxfire Village, a brother, C.B. Hunt, Jr. of Oxford, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ray Dickerson and two daughters, Flo Dickerson and Nancy Dickerson.
Visitation will be held 1:30 – 3:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford, NC.
